I found a reference in lore, that elude's to some of them still being alive. It mentioned that they are in hiding due to the Tsaesci devouring most of their people. For all intents and purposes, the rest of the world thinks they died out a long time ago. Some remain hidden within the province of Cyrodiil, some bred with the Nibinean noble houses.
